What do you enjoy most about your work?

As a digital marketer, I love having the opportunity to be creative and analytical while doing my projects. I also love meeting and working with colleagues from all over the world.

What is a challenge or difficulty you face at work?

Being the youngest at my workplace has been challenging to me at first. I felt a tremendous amount of pressure of constantly proving my ability to the others and caring about what the others think of me.

How do you see that the Gospel is or could be transforming your workplace?

Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. This verse helps me a lot as it reminds me that the Lord is who I ultimately need to please, not men. There’s only so much we can do to please others. Even when we did all the “good” things, the others might still don’t like us. We can never find satisfaction from pleasing people. Instead, shift our focus back to God and do work that brings Him honor.

What is one piece of advice you would give to those that will enter the workplace in the future?

– Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

– It’s okay to ask question! You are in the perfect stage to ask as many questions as you would like.

– It’s okay to say “I don’t know.” The truth is, a lot of us who are older don’t know a lot of things too.
